Well it was maybe pretty wet over the weekend, but looks as though the Cubs still had a great time. Plenty of compliments on their behaviour and manners so well done to them all. Thank you to all the Leaders and Explorers for giving up their weekend to take the Cubs along to this event.

For those of us “old” enough to remember, St. George’s Day used to mean a joint Guide/Scout parade from the Town Square to St. Brycedale Church (and on one occasion the ABC Cinema). No parade this year, but a reminder that there will be no Section Meetings next week as the service is at Linktown Church at 6.30 pm on Tuesday 25th April. Full uniform should be worn, with school trousers/skirt and shoes, together with money for charity collection. Parents are most welcome to stay as there will be plenty of presentations to 115th Fife .
Great time had by the Scout team on Saturday. Well done to Matthew G, Jonathan, Rikki, Aiden and Finlay for taking part in the competition. They were third overall which was a great result considering they had to play a few back to back matches and no substitutes to give any of them a breather !!
Despite lots of enthusiasm, 115th Beavers were not winners at the Baden Powell Trophy today. They definitely had lots of fun taking part in everything from hockey to archery, putting up a tent, quizzes, knots and craft. Check out our facebook page for all the photos https://www.facebook.com/115thfife . Thank you to our team for coming along and hope they enjoyed the afternoon – their behaviour was first class and a credit to the 115th.
